Also, I find that there are some interesting stories that I find when reading the paper--these same headlines I skip when I am reading the paper online. I like the instant news cycle for the big stories, but really value the role the paper plays for reporting news that happens on the local/statewide stage. I thought about giving up my subscription a while back, but discovered that I enjoy the process of reading the paper everday. Also, I find that there are some interesting stories that I find when reading the paper–these same headlines I skip when I am reading the paper online.
