Five things you didn’t know about me

I am not a big fun of blog tag games. I will admit I have ignored past attempts to get me involved. However this time I got double tagged by the opposite gender and I will not be in peace with myself if I ignore these signs of attention. ;-)

Besides it is holidays — the fun time. So let me spill on you my share of “fun” which kept me busy over the past week or so. Hold tight!

  • I just got back from my New Year’s skiing trip to Wisconsin. We went with a dozen more families — mostly my close friends
  • Both of my kids got sick as soon as we reached the resort and I missed most of the skiing since either me or my wife had to stay in with the kids all the time
  • But I wasn’t too much upset since we had rain on New Year’s Eve which washed out most of the snow anyway. Doh!
  • The grand finale was the near-death experience I had the first day of 2007 when my friend’s car spun out of the Highway 17 at 50 mph with me riding in the front passenger seat. We hit a few trees but luckily no one was hurt.
  • I wish for my series of misfortunes to pause for a while because tomorrow is MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hopefully unlike me everyone else has had safe and joyful holidays with friends and relatives. I wish everyone happy bargain hunting in the new year!

Thanks to Robyn from Practical Blogging and to Alison from Bargain Quest for remembering me. In my turn I would like to tag Scott at OzBargainBlog to share five things from his personal life.

Thank you. I hope my first day of 2007 is no indication of what the new year prepared for me. :-)

That’s a horrible holiday! But, let me be the first to wish you a happy birthday :)

    Thank you everyone!

I just spoke to one of the families that went with us to Wisconsin — their car was damaged on the way back by ice from the truck in front of them.

Another family said they saw a car behind them spin off the highway and roll over. This is just unbelievable!
