Does this mean that if I make a $30 donation using a link on my church’s web site that I’ll get $15 back? Or does this just apply to big merchants?
This could be a big money maker for non-profits.
Donations are excluded. Here is an extract from Terms and Conditions:
Excluded Transactions. The following transactions are excluded from this offer: Send Money transactions, payments to Personal Accounts, eBay payments made to Personal Accounts, donations, PayPal Mobile transactions, payments for services, Virtual Debit Card payments, PayPal ATM/ Debit Card payments and PayPal Plus Credit Card payments not made through your PayPal account.
But if the place is registered as a business, how do they know it’s a donation?
When you pay with PayPal you have to choose what it is: goods, service/other, eBay item, or cash advance
