Ode to my sponsors, Mpire and CouponWinner

Mpire T-ShirtAlright, alright, you might be getting used to seeing my face during commercial breaks. This is yet another opportunity, thanks to Matt Hulett from Mpire who sent me this t-shirt.

ProBargainHunter turned 6 months end of March and so far I have been enjoying it very much. The blog now has a total of 188 posts and, thanks to you, 665 comments. Just imagine how many ideas and money saving tips could have gone unnoticed. It is good to have a place to share them all!

Mpire

Mpire is a price comparison engine for bargain hunting freaks like myself. I wrote about them in October when I did my price comparison roundup. In a nutshell, Mpire compares prices on new and used merchandise, displays price change trends and aggregates product reviews and merchant coupons, all in one view.

They have a browser plug-in and a Hot Deals page. They also recently launched a visual shopping application, ShopWave, but judging by comments it doesn’t seem to be getting a very welcome acceptance.

CouponWinner

CouponWinner barely missed getting to my list of popular coupons sites last month. Actually, if I were to compile that list today, they would have been included since their Alexa rank improved since then.

The site, as the name suggests, is a huge collection of coupons sortable by department, merchant, popularity and expiration date. CouponWinner has been sponsoring ProBargainHunter since March 25 (that banner in the upper left corner is theirs). Give them a visit and if you like the site, drop them a note with a “Hi” from me. ;-)
