try UNSERTIRE.COM they have some pretty low prices and free shipping in the usa and they have a wide variety of name brands

Sears automotive usually will beat anyones price by 10% on the same exact tire including tirerack so my suggestion shop on line buy at sears.

If there is a Farm and Fleet in your area, they have BFG Traction T/A tires on sale until June 17 PLUS they give you a free one when you buy 3. On our Civic, that came to just under $231 (all inclusive, including balancing, stems, mounting, taxes, disposal fees for 4 tires).

The best overall price/value is Sams Club. You get a very good quality tire, but the best part is the warranty and nationwide availability. (except for places like NYC.)

I have studied the pros & cons of local .vs. online tire purchases. I did buy online once (TireRack.com) – I really like their website. However, since that one online tire purchase I haven’t been able to justify the “hassle factor” involved in receiving the tire shipment then finding a reasonable priced local installer and hauling the tires to them.

With careful online shopping and investing my time in getting the tires installed I can save at best maybe $10-$50. I have decided that ~$40-$50 is the hassle / savings threshold and I will usually opt to make my life easier rather than save

I recently received a Costco coupon book with a coupon for $60 off a set of 4 Michelin or select BF Goodrich tires, good 4 June thru 1 July. Costco members should be sure to watch for these booklets; they can add to the savings. (In some cases, $60 looks like it’s almost enough to cover one of the tires for a car, though I doubt it will for our SUV that needs them right now. LOL)
