Watch ads and get free magazines

Well, just one magazine right now, Popular Mechanics, but there are more to come according to the team at AdPerk.com - an advertisement network of new kind where visitors get incentives for watching commercials in a form of free or discounted magazine subscriptions.

According to AdPerk blog, the network just launched last month and as of now visitors really have very few options as what magazines they get to choose. The idea is very novel however and I will be curious to see if the market accepts it.

Irrelevant of what market “thinks” about AdPerk, I recommend you to spend a few minutes at the site watching ads and then pick a free subscription of Popular Mechanics. It is a good magazine and some ad were actually quite educational.

Great; so you watch all these Ad’s to get free magazines where you are bombarded with even more ads.

I stopped buying magazines for that sheer reason. 50% of the most magazines is full-page advertisements.

Popular Mechanics is one of the few I still read (Economist was another one until recently). They usually have one or two articles per issue that are worth reading.

They had Popular Science a few days ago. As for reading I like the WSJ (Personal Journal and Marketplace sections).

earning free subscriptions is a great idea. Readers can read them free and if they need anything can buy online. I don’t like Christian magazines but most anything else. I like books LARGE PRINT and Reader’s Digest. Thanks lots. How do we get magazines we earn? Riteaid I never find stuff I use.
