I use these all the time and the 70% is the best one I see them offer. I do advise calling the restaurant to make sure they still are accepting the certificates.

Note that you can also apply the “TREATS” code toword the purchase of a “mega” certificate which is valid at **any time** at restaurant.com.

Here’s how you do it on the restaurant.com web site:

1. Click “give a gift”
2. Enter quantity in quantity field
3. Use drop down box to select “$25/$10″
4. Click “view cart”
5. Enter “TREATS” into promotional code box
6. Click “recalculate total”
7. Pay
8. Use this restaurant.com GC at any time of the month for any $25 GC you want.

Contrary to what you seem to posing, I think the focus on local restaurants is good. Who needs more chains? Go support a local stop!

I have used these a few times and I think they’re great if you’re going out to eat anyway, especially for occasions where you will be eating more. You’ll note that if you buy from them once you will get a lot of emails for promotions (I filter these to the trash and dig them out when I want a code). Basically you can ALWAYS get at least 50% off. Last time I got 60% off meaning that I paid $4 for $25 worth of certificate.
