Nintendo Wii said to ‘attract cockroaches’

It is Friday and I can’t seem to get my thoughts together especially with news like this. Register wrote today that according to the latest findings Wii console actively attracts cockroaches when the device is on. More than I like this “news report”, I like the comments people are leaving. Here are some, enjoy!

Oh come on, that’s like saying parliament attracts idio….. oh

Another reader sees a marketing ploy by competitors:

Methinks it’s a brand-smearing ploy by Sony. Reminds me of a certain line in Anchorman… “I’ve heard their periods attract bears. The bears can smell the menstruation!”. Hmmmm.

Someone else suggests to approach this problem constructively:

Can’t someone just test this? It’s not like the requisite components are difficult to get. Cockroaches, and … oh. Yeah, might take a while to put this test together after all.

I will not claim I know cockroaches well enough to judge what kind of game consoles they prefer, I firmly believe however that Wii is very good at attracting a different roach, the human coach-potato type. ;-)
