This is December 2007 revision of the Popular Deal Sites list. You can find the last month revision of the list here.
The change in rating shows the difference compared to November results. The list has a total of 32 web sites. There are 49 more in my database that didn’t meet the Alexa Rank < 100,000 requirement.
dealnews.com (16.64%) was the biggest gainer over the holiday shopping season. Check out this MSN Money article mentioning DealNews and FatWallet. There are some interesting notes there from the site usability perspective.
Just as in November, judysbook.com (-21.8%) again had the worst results. This is no question due to the fact that the site is being sold. The company blog was last updated on October 2, 2007 and it looks like the site itself runs on autopilot.

I have been a silent reader for the past year. I really love your blog. I have never bought goods in bargain before.
I especially like the “Popular Sites Series”. Before I buy anything, I first visit this series and visit each deal site to find out if i can get a coupon or a deal on the product I want to buy. It has saved me a lot of money. It also gives a very good snapshot of all deal sites . thanks for this series.

This is a good list. It should also include greenbackstreet.com (formerly shop4zero). It is a great site for bargains at 1000 retailers.
GreenBackStreet looks like a rewards program to me, similar to eBates or BondRewards. I wouldn’t call it a deal site
