This is January 2008 revision of the Popular Deal Sites list. You can find the last month revision of the list here.
The change in rating shows the difference compared to December results. The list has a total of 32 web sites. There are 50 more in my database that didn’t meet the Alexa Rank < 100,000 requirement.
The holidays are over and overall trend has changed from positive to negative. Average Alexa rank change this month is -1.45%. The only big mover though is judysbook.com (-37.57%) which keeps sliding down ever since they announced the sale of the website.
On the brighter side slickdeals.net (4.51%) has got back it’s Page Rank 6 after it was reduced to 5 back in October last year. Rightly so, the forum has not had a single negative month since July 2007 and is now far ahead of the runner up, fatwallet.com (-0.13%), if you trust Alexa. Compete however shows a completely different picture.

I really don’t trust alexa, and I think no one should trust it, because their rank system is based on people using their toolbar which most of the people don’t care to install.
