Sharper Image is closing all stores

It was half expected but still took me by surprise when Consumerist reported on the news earlier today. Sharper Image who filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this year just announced they will close all remaining stores and clear out the inventory.

Discounts of 20% to 40% are now being offered on all merchandise in all stores. Consumers will be able to take advantage of deep discounts and important savings on electronics and toys as well as products for the home, personal care, the office and travel.

The same company appears to be handling the event that worked with CompuUSA when they went under. I am sure there will be plenty of bargains, just need to remember that most likely all sales are final and the only warranty you have is whatever you get from the manufacturer.

Also related, note the trouble looming over for Linens and Things. They are closing 120 stores in the US.
