This is September 2007 revision of the Popular Coupon sites list. You can find the last month revision of the list here.
The change in rating shows the difference compared to August results. The list currently has 23 sites which is one less than the last month (naughtycodes.com had its Alexa go above the threshold). There are a total of 14 more coupon sites in my database that didn’t meet the Alexa Rank < 250,000 requirement.
The winner this month is couponseven.com (5.95%) and the worst result comes from our sponsor, couponwinner.com, who’s Alexa rank drops by (8.95%).
If you know a popular coupon site and it is missing from this list, please leave a comment or send me a note and I will add it with the next release.

This kind of posts are rare in between but once in a while I do try to show how grateful I am to the people and companies who support me and my blog. Today I would like to thank two website that have been sponsoring ProBargainHunter for quite a while.
CouponWinner
Aydin, the President and CEO, renewed sponsorship earlier this month and with the renewal email tipped me to a new feature they launched recently. It is called CouponScout. Here is how it works.
Let’s say you are looking for a digital camera and you know that BestBuy and CircuitCity have the camera you like at similar prices. You go to CouponWinner and click on Electronics and select “Digital Cameras” category. Look for the CouponScout icon to the left. Select BestBuy and CircuitCity and click “Compare”. You will see a view like this:

The two lists show the coupons available for each merchant and you can compare the deals side by side to find the best offer on digital cameras.
Financial Web
FinancialWeb is an independent financial portal full of personal finance related educational resources. The kind of information you will find there varies from mortgage to taxes and from insurance to credit cards. FinancialWeb has been sponsoring ProBargainHunter for almost a year now and today they renewed the contract for 3 more months. Give them a visit at FinWeb.com and if you happen to drop them a note say “hi” from Yan at ProBargainHunter! :-)

This is March 2007 revision of the Popular Coupon web sites list. You can find the last month revision of the list here.
The change in rating shows the difference compared to February results. The list has a total of 25 web sites. There are 5 more in my database that didn’t meet the Alexa Rank < 250,000 requirement.
Thanks to your tips, I added quite a few new websites this month. However one of the sites from the last month list, cellfire.com, dropped out due to decrease in Alexa rank.
The winner this month is couponwinner.com (14.82%), who is also our sponsor. The biggest drop comes from currentcodes.com (-37.97%).
On average the ratings improved by 4.45% this month which is a surprise to me since average rating for deals sites keeps sliding from month to month. The list is still rapidly growing though and the picture may change next month.

Alright, alright, you might be getting used to seeing my face during commercial breaks. This is yet another opportunity, thanks to Matt Hulett from Mpire who sent me this t-shirt.
ProBargainHunter turned 6 months end of March and so far I have been enjoying it very much. The blog now has a total of 188 posts and, thanks to you, 665 comments. Just imagine how many ideas and money saving tips could have gone unnoticed. It is good to have a place to share them all!
Mpire
Mpire is a price comparison engine for bargain hunting freaks like myself. I wrote about them in October when I did my price comparison roundup. In a nutshell, Mpire compares prices on new and used merchandise, displays price change trends and aggregates product reviews and merchant coupons, all in one view.
They have a browser plug-in and a Hot Deals page. They also recently launched a visual shopping application, ShopWave, but judging by comments it doesn’t seem to be getting a very welcome acceptance.
CouponWinner
CouponWinner barely missed getting to my list of popular coupons sites last month. Actually, if I were to compile that list today, they would have been included since their Alexa rank improved since then.
The site, as the name suggests, is a huge collection of coupons sortable by department, merchant, popularity and expiration date. CouponWinner has been sponsoring ProBargainHunter since March 25 (that banner in the upper left corner is theirs). Give them a visit and if you like the site, drop them a note with a “Hi” from me. ;-)
