Free 4×6 digital prints for new customers

Bargain hunters at SlickDeals have rounded up several promotions from online digital photo companies. All of these apply to new customers, so a new sign up is required. Go to this thread at SlickDeals for the links to these offers and the discussion.

Looking at the list, WinkFlash sounds like the best deal to me. I already have an account with them however and I love the service. CVS sounds appealing however I noticed a fine print at the bottom that all orders under $5 require a $1.49 service charge. I wonder if the rule applies to this promotion as well…

In addition, you might want to take a look at this comparison analysis I have done in the past to get an idea which of these companies offers the best deal for your money should you stay with them for longer than just this sign up.

American Express – $250 with first purchase

American ExpressI just love these credit card promotions! So far they have been more profitable than all my blog ads! Well, that rather says my blog sucks than the credit card offers are good but hey, no one said it would be easy. ;-)

The FatWallet community have dug out this wonderful deal from American Express. All you need to do is apply for a new card, make one purchase and American Express will send you a $250 AMEX gift card (which is as good as cash). The last time I took part they were offering $100 gift cards and both me and my wife received one.

You get to choose from 4 different credit cards and you certainly want one without annual fee. If you choose Business Gold Rewards card (annual fee waved for one year) then you might be able to combine this deal with 5,000 bonus points offered with that card. Roll your mouse over each card and click “Learn More” for details on each offering.

Here is another important thing. The offer is targeted at small business owners so you might at some point have to state that you do run a business (hey, who doesn’t!?).

And by the way, if you want to know exactly how badly my blog sucks — just click on the Site Meter link to the left that I just added and send me your humiliating remarks. ;-)

PayPal to offer $20 rebates starting November 23

Reuters reports that PayPal is planning to start offering $20 rebates and free shipping to customers using the service via thousands of on-line stores in North America.

…millions of PayPal customers will be eligible to receive cash rebate offers up to $20 when paying with PayPal from Nov. 23 through May 15, 2007.

The promotion includes such well known brands as Barnes-n-Noble, Dell, Starbucks,, The Sharper Image, 1-800-Flowers, PetSmart and partially HP.

The news probably comes as an attempt by PayPal to fight the Google Checkout gaining popularity with their $10 off $30 deal.
