Two dozen roses and vase for $30 at ProFlowers

Valentine's Roses at ProFlowers

Update: the red roses just went in price to $40, assorted kind is still $30

Valentine’s Day is coming close and I am in search of a good deal on flowers delivery. After spending some time looking around, this is the best offer I have found (and from a business I used before). Here are the steps to reproduce:

  • Go to ProFlowers and click on the microphone in the upper-right corner where it says “Hear about us on radio or TV?”
  • Enter “mikeandmike” at the prompt. This is the name of the talk show that had been promoting ProFlowers.
  • You will see a welcome message and a list of flower offers. You can chose any of these or…
  • Search for item #8096 for to go to two dozen red roses for $29.99 and a free vase.
  • Search for item #6338 if you prefer assorted roses.

The vase that comes free is kind of crappy and I may pay $10 to upgrade to the nicer looking ruby glass however this is still cheaper than $15 regular price I would have paid for that vase w/o this promotion.

And treat her to a dinner

Restaurant.com is a place to buy dining certificates at discount. A typical saving is 60% ($25 certificate for $10) and is a good deal if you can find your favorite place in the list. Apply code VALENTINE to sweeten your deal even more. This should give you a $10 certificate with each purchase but somehow I got an instant $5 discount instead, still works for me :-). plus 50% instant discount (thanks to Alison for clearing that out). Offer expires February 17, 2007.
